We mix the best talents from the worlds of film, television, games and performance with the smartest technical minds to deliver premium experiences across virtual reality, augmented reality and other forms of immersive content.
Our creative team obsesses about creating experiences that take people to new worlds of enhanced reality and engage their emotions by creating presence and empathy.
Our television division focuses on creating high quality documentaries and popular factual formats for major broadcasters. We incorporate immersive & interactive elements into our projects wherever possible in order to reach new audiences.
Our people have been at the cutting edge of telling stories with the latest advancements in imaging for the last decade during which time they have worked on projects with some of the world’s highest profile content brands and most respected on-screen talent.
These range from the FA Premier League, Ryder Cup and NBA in the worlds of sports through stereoscopic and ultra high definition co-productions with National Geographic and Discovery to projects for the BBC and Sky to landmark award winning shows including the BAFTA winning Sir David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum Alive.

John Cassy, Chief Executive
John oversees the strategic and creative direction of the company as well as Executive Producing major projects including the award winning Hold The World with David Attenborough in the Natural History Museum and Painting the Future. He spent more than a decade in senior roles at Sky launching and running new channels and technology, while commissioning across genres from sports to factual to music to arts. John commissioned live major events in 3D including two UEFA Champions League Finals, two Ryder Cups, ATP Tour Finals at O2, 2012 Olympics, NBA, Premier League, The Queen’s Speech, and BAFTA winning David Attenborough films. He also created the UK’ s leading Arts TV channels, Sky Arts. He is a board Governor of the International Advanced Imaging Society in LA, as well as a Trustee of the Almeida Theatre, London’s 2018 Theatre of the Year.
Ruth Sessions, Head of Production & Operations
Ruth has spent the last 20 years planning and managing complex creative projects. At Factory 42 she has specialised in projects that use new technologies to tell immersive stories, such as the interactive VR project Hold the World with David Attenborough in the Natural History Museum. Before Factory 42 Ruth was Head of Production then Director of Operations at Atlantic Productions for 10 years, spearheading their drive into 3D, 4k and Giant Screen. Credits there included the BAFTA-winning David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum Alive (Sky, 2013), TimeScanners (PBS, Nat Geo International and France 5, 2014) and Inside the Commons (BBC, 2015).
James Hunt, Executive Producer, TV
James is a multi award-winning Executive Producer, Controller and Channel Director who has created a number of long running TV formats including Loose Women for ITV. James was Controller of Daytime at ITV before picking up where John Cassy left off at Sky Arts and increased audiences 10 - fold during his 4 years in charge. During his stint he commissioned a number of ground breaking events and films as well as award winning dramas including one that brought together the combined talents of Harry Potter and Mad Men’s Don Draper. James was re-united with John in 2017 at Factory 42 when he co- created and Executive Produced the award-winning and innovative VR project and documentary, Painting The Future.
